About Insulated Copper Wire 75%
At roughly 75% recovery you are into heavy-gauge insulated cable: thick single-core, larger multi-core power cable, and the sort of feed cable pulled out of switchboards and industrial installations.
The thicker the conductor relative to its jacket, the higher the recovery, and the closer the rate moves toward bare copper. Loads at this grade are worth weighing separately rather than throwing in with lighter cable.
Armoured cable sits differently — the steel wire armour has to come off before the copper content can be assessed, so bring it in as-is and we will look at it rather than estimating blind.
