A tipper unloading collected scrap metal at the Ingleburn yard

For a load too big to bring in, we come to you. We collect scrap metal across Sydney, NSW and the ACT, and for bigger or ongoing jobs we drop a bin on site. Pickups and bins are free. What decides whether a truck goes is whether the load is worth sending it for.

Pickup or bin?

  • A pickup suits a one-off load: a shed clear-out, a strip-out, or the pile left after a job.
  • A bin suits demolition, strip-outs and ongoing production scrap, where metal builds up over days or weeks.

Is there a minimum?

Yes, for pickups and bins, because the truck has to be worth sending. There is no minimum to drive into the yard. Call and tell us what you have, and we will tell you straight away whether it is worth a collection or a trip in.

What we need to know

  • What the metal is. A photo on WhatsApp is the quickest way to show us.
  • Roughly how much: a ute load, a trailer, a skip’s worth, or tonnes.
  • Where it is, and how a truck gets to it.
  • For a bin, how long the job runs.

How far we go

Ingleburn and South West Sydney are home ground, with runs going out most days. The Western Sydney industrial estates are on regular scheduled collections. Further out, in the Illawarra, the Central Coast, the Hunter and regional NSW, a collection needs a decent tonnage to be worth the drive.

Getting paid

Collected metal is graded and paid by EFT, the same as metal brought to the yard. By law, no scrap metal dealer in NSW can pay cash.

Turn your metal into cash.

Send a photo of the load and we will price it on the grade, or drive into the yard at 8 Noonan Rd, Ingleburn and leave paid.
